Make your own embellishments

Hello all,
              Today over at CRAFT we have a new challenge for you. We would like to see you 

Make Your Own Embellishments
We have three fabulous sponsors

A colleague at school lost her father recently at a fairly young age.
I use this gorgeous sentiment from Digi Darla to create my DT card this week.


The frame is made using two Marianne Creatables dies - Anya Large Ovals and a frame thaat came with two swirl dies.
The swirls are made using a doo hickey swirl, 
The roses are made from another Marianne die- and I am really pleased with the way they turned out.

Last GDT project

Good morning all,
Wow I can't believe that this is my last GDT project for Tuesday Alchemy. That means that we are at the end of September!

Every month Tuesday Alchemy have a ransom word challenge. 
You can use one two or al three words to inspire you.
The three words this time are
Blackboard, Gears and Tart

As you can see I decided to make  a Christmas tag.

Friendship

Good friends,
Today over at INCY WINCY designs we have a new challenge for you.

I would like to say hello to all of my new friends all over the world I have made through crafting and blogging. The crafting community is really something very special!
But most of all I would like to dedicate this post to my best friend Lynn. We have had had so much fun over the 27 years of our friendship and have been there for each other through good and not so good times.

Colour challenge

Good morning all, hope today finds you in good spirits.

Today over at Tuesday Alchemy there is a brand new challenge.

This was a real challenge for me as these are colours I don't normally work with, but it gave me the opportunity to use a scrappers delights image I had  some time ago and haven't used ( hanging head in shame)

Let It Snow

Hi all, I hope it doesn't snow just yet but that is the name of the gorgeous Whimsy stamp I used for our new challenge over at INCY WINCY DESIGNS today.

I loved this challenge because green is one of my favourite colours and because this stamp is soooo adorable.

The wooden snowflakes were a pressie from my bezie mate and were coloured with Pine disress ink.
The ribbon is from fantastic ribbons.
The doly was cut uing a cheery lynn die 
the buttons were from Dunelm's craft department and the sentiment is a lily of the valley stamp.

Good morning all,
 A quick post from me today - have had a hectic weekend. Middle daughter in hospital then sent home, niece visiting from Hampshire, other surprise visitors. Talk about not knowing if you are coming or going.

Count Dracula's Castle

Good morning all,
 It hardly seems like a week since our last challenge over at CRAFT, but here we are with a new challenge  and today we have a ..........
Photo inspiration challenge for you.

For my card I used an image by Sassy Studios who sponsored our Star of the Month.
The image was chosen by a friend at work who commissioned a 50th birthday card for her husband who's birthday is on Halloween.


The image is coloured with Promarkers
The papers are from card making downloads
The charms were from ebay
metal corners from Wild orchids ( I sanded them to take the shine off them so they looked older.
The sentiment was made on my computer using chiller font.

All of our three girls are having one of these as a Christmas card this year.
I have yet to add the verse inside the box and there will be a small bracelet or necklace in each of them.

Back to School
