Debut DT card - Through The Craft Room Door

Good Morning All,

I am super excited today because it’s my debut as a designer for

 Through the Craft Room Door

I so admire the awesome talent of the ladies on the team and feel privileged to have been accepted onto the team.

So onto the challenge.  As always it’s  Anything Goes

The image I have been lucky enough to use is called

‘Thoughts’

I used Promarkers to colour the image.

The Cherry blossom paper is from an old set by McMahon Design – sadly I can no longer find these online to add the link.

The tag was made using a Go Kreate die – Concentric tag # 1

The sentiment was printed onto the paper on the PC before it was die cut.

I cut a smaller square of the same paper so that I could decoupage it onto the larger square to add dimension to the card.

I fussy cut the image and added some Tonic diamond glitter to the dots in her hair.

Personally I feel that these images are so beautiful that cards need very little in the way of embellishments.

Avery With Coffee (with glasses) from Paper Nest Dolls.

The image is coloured with Promarkers and the papers are from the Nitwit Collection Coffee Talk and the Raspberry Road Collection –Coffee Shop.

The tag is part of the Nitwits Collection – I added the sentiment on the PC.

 I added Glossy Accent to Avery’s glasses.

   The image I chose for my DT card is

Hearnoevil, Seenoevil, Hootnoevil

I decided on a clean and simple card for this fun image.

I printed the image and sentiment onto card.

Then, I stamped round the edge of the card and just added a touch of colour to the leaves with my Promarkers.

The image was coloured with Promarkers and then the card was matted onto coordinating paper.

Butterfly Bunny from All Dressed Up

The image was coloured with Promarkers.

The gorgeous papers are from Butterflies and Humming Birds by Michelle Roos.

I decoupaged the four corners using foam pads so that the image could be tucked inside.

The ‘Hoppy Birthday’ sentiment was made on the PC.

Benson & Betty

This is such a sweet image.

I coloured it with Promarkers and added some glamour dust to the snow and fur trims on the hat.

The gorgeous papers are from Polkadoodles Tiggy and Twinkle Festive Collection.

The sentiment was made on the PC in a chalk font to match the writing on the design paper.

For my DT project I chose…

Tissue Box Cover from The Cutting cafe

The first box is fairly plain to match the décor in my bedroom.

The second one is made with Christmas in mind so that any tissues you have around at Christmas will for in with your Christmas décor.

I think these would make rather nice inexpensive gifts for those people that we just give a ‘token gift’ to at Christmas or a Get Well gift.

 I used the SVG file for this project but there is a PDF file included for those of us without cutting machines.

You can really go to town with the embellishments on these boxes depending on where and who they are intended for.

There are also sentiments included in the bundle.
