Anything but a card

For my DT project I decided on a wall hanging for my friend's little girl's bedroom.

Her room is very pink and she is such a girly girl.

I used two Jodie images

The papers are from the NitWit collection Grin and bear it.

The doily, swirls and butterflies were all cut from Cheery Lynn Designs

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Each image is coloured using Promarkers.

I used Go Kreate xxl dies for the shapes.

Use Stitching

Good morning all,
What a fantastic start to the school holidays, I do hope this weather continues everyone was beginning to turn rusty I think!
Welcome to another challenge at CRAFT, our theme for this week is Use Stitching which can be real or faux. I must admit I love to see stitching on a card but sewing has never been my strong point so I apologise for the wonky stitching on my DT card.

For my card I used this beautiful 'Wine Barrel' Image from My Heart Pieces.

It is coloured with Promarkers and was a joy to colour.

I applied glossy accents to the glass and the bottles.

The cute corkscrew charm was from ebay

The swirl is from  Marianne Designs.

The ribbon is from my stash.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts and the delicious papers are one again from Katie Pertiet over at DesignerDigitals.

Summer has arrived at last - Let's Party!

Its taken a long, long time but Summer has arrived - well at least for a day or two.

Here is my card using the 'So Stylish' image. 

I  really enjoyed colouring this image - which is coloured using Promarkers.

The swirl is made using a Marrianne Creatable die.

The ribbon is from my Stash and the sentiments were made on the pc.

Vampire Love

Good morning peeps,
I hope you all had a restful weekend. I spent most of it crafting which was just lovely and helped me to
de-stress a little.

 Today over at INCY WINCY our challenge this week is 

Dust It Off - we would like you to use those things you haven't used in a while or in my case not at all!

Here is my card complete with list of dusted off items.

Dusted off items- digi bought on a whim because I loved it then realised I didn't know anyone who would appreciate it; Maryanne flower die used once last year; black glitter glue never used - took 10 minutes to unblock the nozzle because it was all dried up! The gold paper has been in my box for at least a year too.

The picture isn't brilliant because of  the terrible light over the weekend.

The papers are from Stamping All Day.

Leaving

As I said earlier this week a dear colleague of ours retires at the end of this week. She has made such a difference to so many children's lives over the years and has given so much to our school. Wednesday is her retirement 'do' which will be very emotional and on Friday there will be floods of tears again.

This is the retirement card for staff to sign. It may seem like a curious image for a retirement, but Chris is so young looking, wears very trendy clothes and loves her i- pad. So this was just the perfect image for her.

The card is larger than I normally make but I have so enjoyed making it because I could colour a large version of this Darcys Diaries image 

I hope the staff are as pleased with it as I am.
