Good
Morning,
As always its Anything
Goes with the Optional Twist of Reuse/ Upcycle
Here is my project for the challenge…
Before
Before
After
( Bride and Groom's names blocked out for privacy).
This project was very much a labour of love. My Goddaughter is
getting married in a few weeks and wanted a vintage basket for guests to
deposit their cards in.
I had an old picnic basket hiding in the cupboard under the
stairs which was redundant because of our super cool bag / picnic set.
The straps were removed; it was relined with pretty floral
material; a few handmade embellishments added and the basket is transformed.
Both she and I are delighted with the result.
I would like to enter this project into the following challenges….
A Bit More Time to Craft (M, P1,
E3) #62 - Anything Goes

ReplyDeleteWow, Sheryl, this is absolutely awesome! It must have been quite tricky to do, and must have taken quite a while, too, but so worth it!
ReplyDeleteWhen I were a lass we had a picnic basket that was like yours (before embellishment) but it was considerably more battered! One time my bro and his best friend used it (empty) as a goal when they were playing football, and it never really recovered!!
love Mags B x
