Good morning,

Happy New Year. Today we launch a new challenge over at

Creative Artistes Mixed Media Challenge

The theme is Anything Goes with a twist – use chipboard.

For my project I created a heart wall hanging which was given to my friend at her wedding on 31^st December.

I cut two hearts from chipboard and stuck them together to give it more strength. I painted the edges with Gesso, then added a layer of script paper.

I ruched alternate layers of burlap and lace, then added the chipboard letters and flowers.

On the back was the script paper available here and a sentiment cut out using a Spellbinders Oval.

Well here we are almost at the end of 2015, my how time flies!

We have a new challenge over at Natalie and Amy’s for you and it’s a nice easy one

‘Thank You’

For my DT card I dug out my Party Paws Digi Kit CD and played about with it in my Craft Artist Program. This digi kit will only work with this program, but Natalie and Amy have another Party Paws CD which you can use in your other programs such as MY Craft Studio.

I created my own decoupage for this gorgeous little chap and used it along with a Joanna Sheen signature die to create my card.

This week it’s my turn to create an anything goes project. So here it is using

The poinsettas were made using a trio die from Tattered Lace which came free with their magazine along with the tiny embossing folder to give it texture.

The lace and red jute string are from my stash.
