Christmas at CRAFT

Good Morning and welcome to a new challenge over at CRAFT Challenge.

This week the theme of our challenge is Christmas

For my DT project this week I was lucky enough to use

‘Christmas Party hat’ from Rick St Dennis MFA

I love Rick St Dennis images because they are a joy to colour.

I decided to make a chocolate gift box after watching Sarah Davies on Hochanda at the weekend.

I used my Big Score which makes measuring scoring A3 card so much easier.

 and inside just enough room for two bars of chocolate...

I used 300 gsm centura pearl card and printed two designs from a Bearly Mine Christmas collection straight onto the card.

The beautiful image was coloured using Promarkers .

The dies were cut using Marianne dies.

The ribbon and chocolate bars are from my stash – the chocolate won’t be in my stash for long!

The poinsettia was cut and embossed using the free poinsettia die and folder that came with a magazine and then I used gilding wax and liquid pearls on it.
