Cute Reindeer at CRAFT challenge

Today over at Craft challenge we have a new challenge and this week it’s

For my DT project I chose…

Cute reindeer

So I have just decorated my craft room which necessitated a major clear out! I have ‘rediscovered’ many, many things that I have bought over the years and have forgotten about. I am ashamed to say some have never been opened.

One of these was this Tattered Lace Snow Globe die.

So I teamed it up with this gorgeous reindeer and a few bits of foliage cut with a cheapie die from Amazon and a poinsettia die cut from a freebie Tattered Lace die and here is my DT project.

The gorgeous papers are from We Are Three – Winter Serenity

The darling reindeer is coloured using Promarkers.

The sentiment was cut using dies from the Snow Globe set.

The snowflake acetate is from my stash.

Today I am sharing a card that I made as GDT for

 Through the Craft Room Door

Our amazing sponsor is

Pop along to their shop and take a look at the fabulous images, paper pack and sentiments. There really is a variety of choice.

As always the challenge is  Anything Goes

The team have been lucky enough to work with this fabulous image called

‘Honey Bee’,

The fabulous digital paper set ‘Bumble Bee’

And

The sentiment set ‘Bee Buzz’

I used Promarkers to colour the image.

I used Sue Wilson’s creative Expressions stitched hexagonal dies to create the card base and layers.

The gorgeous papers have been matted onto plain black paper.

The sentiment was printed onto cream card and then cut using the smallest die from the set.

I added Tonic diamond glitter to the wings and jewel in the bow just to give it a bit of sparkle.

Colour of Love, previously Lacy Sunshine Stamps

All of Heather’s stamps are just gorgeous so choosing which one to use was a difficult one.

I eventually chose Lily Blooming Beauties

Isn’t she gorgeous?

I coloured her with Promarkers and used pastels to colour the background which doesn’t show up too well on the picture.

I added glamour dust paint to the petals of the lilies.

The ribbon and gems are from my stash.

The image I have used is called

Orchids from  Jeremiah Ketner

I think this is one of the most beautiful images I have ever worked with.

I used Promarkers to colour the image.

The papers are from an old collection by Katie Pertiet called Aged Perfection

The lace is from my stash.

The liquid pearls are from Tonic and the sentiment was made on the PC and then fussy cut.

I cut part of some of the paper to create ticket border.

Debut DT card - Through The Craft Room Door

I am super excited today because it’s my debut as a designer for

 Through the Craft Room Door

I so admire the awesome talent of the ladies on the team and feel privileged to have been accepted onto the team.

So onto the challenge.  As always it’s  Anything Goes

The image I have been lucky enough to use is called

‘Thoughts’

I used Promarkers to colour the image.

The Cherry blossom paper is from an old set by McMahon Design – sadly I can no longer find these online to add the link.

The tag was made using a Go Kreate die – Concentric tag # 1

The sentiment was printed onto the paper on the PC before it was die cut.

I cut a smaller square of the same paper so that I could decoupage it onto the larger square to add dimension to the card.

I fussy cut the image and added some Tonic diamond glitter to the dots in her hair.

Personally I feel that these images are so beautiful that cards need very little in the way of embellishments.
