For my card I used the Santa's sleigh tag and a sentiment from Bugaboo.

The aperture was cut using a  memory box die.

Happy 4th Birthday Charisma Cardz

Good morning all,

                          Today Charisma Cardz is 4 years old!

Happy Birthday

And Happy Birthday Mum 80 today! 

And to celebrate, the whole DT team have come together to celebrate by making their own birthday cards.

I used an image from The Paper Shelter to make this birthday fan for my mum.

The image is called Japaneze Doll and is coloured with Promarkers.

The panels of the fan were a cutting file for the silhouette cameo from silhouette america .com.

The edging was made using a tonic punch I got from the NEC in November.

The gorgeous oriental paper is from a set available here at Top Toppers

The butterflies are from my stash

The frame is cut from a Mariane Designs die

The sentiment was made on the PC

First Challenge of 2013

Good morning all and welcome back to the first challenge of 2013 over at INCY WINCY DESIGNS

The Dt have had a much needed break over the holiday and are back with some fantastic projects.

The challenge this week is Something New and we would like to see you using those new crafty goodies that you all had for Christmas.

The DT were allowed to choose which company they would like to feature in their Dt projects, so because Cedar Chest Designs was completely new to me I chose one  of their images - Framed Lighthouse.

My new things are the new image from a new (to me) designer and the anchor and rubber ring were cut out on my new silhouette machine. 

The cord is from my stash and took me ages to find because I hadn't put it in the right place last time I used it!

Make Your Own Backing Paper

Happy New Year to you all,

The first challenge of the year at CRAFT challenge is sponsored by 

LEJ Designs     Stitchy Bear Stamps     Saturated Canary    Scrappers Delight

I made my papers digitally. For the bottom layer I made a textured background in a design program and then used a heart digital punch to add the pattern. The upper layers were made by creating a square filled with gradient colour and then digital stamps were added and built up.

My image is called Reading Beauty by Saturated Canary

The flowers were from Wild orchids; Joanna Sheen  and Hobby Craft.
The swirls were made with Marianne Dies.
The lace is from Hobby Craft.
