It's Summertime

Good morning,

It’s challenge time over at Natalie and Amy’s again today. 
My goodness this year is just zipping by!

Here is my DT card for the theme this month which is …….

For this card I used

Crafters Companion SWALK – Sweet as Sunshine

'Collall' all purpose glue

Dovecraft Square Cards and Envelopes  125mm x 125mm

All available from the shop.

The backing papers are from the Crafters Companion Destinations CD

The flowers are from Wild Orchid crafys.

Ribbon and burlap are from my stash and the sweet little shells were bought from Ebay.

The image is coloured with Promarkers and the sky is chalked.

Here is my DT card for this week using Sugi's Strawberries from Lacey Sunshine.

Inside..

She has been colored with Promarkers.

The background papers are from Bearly Mine Designs which sadly are no longer available – I just adore he patchwork paper.

The ribbon is from my stash.

The butterflies were punched from the patchwork paper using a Martha Stewart Punch and the doily was made using a Tonic Verso die.

The sentiment was made on the PC

Another Wet Saturday

Good Afternoon,

Surprise, surprise it’s been raining non- stop here all morning so having done the housework I decided to make a very quick card for my lovely husband from our cats for Fathers’ Day tomorrow. Yes I know… from the cats …. But they are our babies lol!

I do hope you are having a better day weather wise than us. It has been raining all night and all day so far. So what else is a girl to do but shut herself in her craft room and create .

My card today features one of Sherri Baldy’s stamps.

She is coloured with Promarkers.

The papers are from The Nitwit collection coffee talk and all the papers are in my favourite colours.

The butterfly border was cut using a memory box die.

The corners were cut using a Cheery Lnn corner die.

The sentiment was printed onto to the journal tag ( also from Coffee talk) on my Pc.

Other accessories are from my stash.

And so onto my project using a cutting file from The Cutting Cafe for a tissue box cover.

Included in the set are svg files for those of us with cutting machines and also PDF files for those of us without. To be honest as the design is so simple to cut I used the PDF pattern rather than setting up my Silhouette Cameo.

I used Raspberry Road Denim and Diamonds Paper to decorate the box. - here

The lace and pearls were from my stash.

The beautiful die is from ‘Tattered Lace’ – Rambling Rose which was free and exclusive with the Tattered Lace Magazine.
