What about the weather?

Good morning,
The English are renown for talking about the weather constantly and today is no exception. The weather has been awful here in the Midlands although yesterday we saw the sun and no rain!
At INCY WINCY today we are launching a new challenge .... yes you guessed it..... it's a.....

Weather Challenge.

Our sponsor this week is Digital Delights

And because we have had such appalling weather, it will come as no surprise to see the theme of my card is rain.
You can use snow, autumn leaves, sunny holiday scenes, barbecuing in the sun, surfing, skiing, building snowmen - anything that is dependent on a particular type of weather.

All of the DT have fallen for this cute little guy.
The digi stamp is called Dilly in the rain.
The background papers are from a freebie set called stormy skies by Robyn Meierotto at Design House Digital
The paper I used for paper piecing the umbrella and boots is from the Nitwits collection Tails n Wags.
Gems, ribbon and charm are from stash.

To see more of Dilly check out the other DT projects and leave them a message on their blogs.
Have a great day and enjoy the challenge.

First May Challenge.

Good Morning everyone.
Can you believe we are into May already? We had such awful weather at the weekend, so I spent a fabulous day on Saturday making my DT cards for the new CRAFT challenge.

Our challenge this week is simple................ Use Buttons.

We would like to see buttons somewhere on your projects- as many as you like.

Our brilliant sponsors for this week are....
In2stamps          Digi Doodle Shop         Love to Stamp

As always we had some of our sponsors products to use and I was so taken with these two images that I had to make two cards.

The first is using a Little Darlings rubber stamp from   Love to stamp called  Buddies.

The wooden butterfly buttons are part of a pack from ebay.
The flowers are from Wild Orchids and Hobby Craft.
I made the paper by using a paper from DesignerDigitals.com and using one of the vintage blendables no2 - both by  Katie Pertiet
I just love these and have several of her kits, because you can create the perfect paper to suit your project.

My second card uses a digi satmp from the Didi Doodle shop called sleeping Infant. I just love this image.

The papers are from Nitwit collection - Affection.
I made the button border by combining button elements from the kit.
The paper on the triangle has buttons on it too although they are hard to see and it was made using papers and elements in Docrafts digital designer from the Country Companions CD.
Buttons from ebay.
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Ribbon from stash.

I would like to enter these cards into the following challenges
Make It Monday - always anything goes
Creative Craft Challenges Anything goes
Papertake weekly anything goes

Please visit the rest of  our talented DT - they have some gorgeous projects.
