For my card I used this gorgeous image called

A Little Note

I saw this amazing tutorial on You tube for an explosion pop up card by Sam Calcott of Mixed up Craft - here

I just had to make one, thank you so much Sam for the easy to follow tutorial.

Inside

The image has been coloured with Promarkers.

The doily was cut using a Marianne Die.

The swirls and banner were cut using memory box dies.

The flowers, lace and ribbon are from my stash.

The papers and embellishments for inside are from the Nitwits Potting shed Collection – here

For my card I chose

Calope’s Cupcake

This gorgeous image is coloured with Promarkers.  

I printed the image in a pale grey to mask the lines.

The beautiful papers are from KaramfilaS – here

The ribbon and pearls are from my stash.
The oval frames were made using Crafters Comapnion oval stitched dies.

The sentimentwas made on the PC.

The border was made with a Martha Stewart Punch.

For my mid challenge inspiration project, I have used

A Boy and his Dog

I love this image. It is so like my grandson so I just had to use it to make our daughter’s birthday card.

This is another really versatile set packed with both pre-coloured and black and white images and sentiments.

I used the black and white image and coloured it with Promarkers.

The base card is Kraft card

The sentiment was created on the PC.

For my DT card I have used

I decided that this poor little guy just had to have an ugly Christmas sweater from grandma so I paper pieced the jumper using paper from Christmas Sweater Weather Digital papers- here.

The rest of the image was coloured using Promarkers.

The backing papers are from CreativeMuseDigitals - here.

I added the sentiments on the PC before I printed them.

A simple but I think effective card.
