She has been coloured using Promarkers, the background was coloured with pastels.

The sentiment was made on the PC.

The gems are from my stash.

I used Crafters Comapanion stitched oval dies to cut her and the mat out.

                         Here we are at the end of March and who knows what the net few months will bring. Thank goodness for crafting and the fact that we are lucky enough to have a garden.

For my card I was lucky enough to work with this fabulous image called Happy Easter from QKR

As soon as I saw this image it screamed out easel card.

I used my cricut machine to create the base card and layers.

I then coloured the image with Promarkers and finally added a stopper using a carrot element from a digital scrapbooking kit.

The image is enough I think without embellishments.

For my card I chose this adorable set called May Flowers

I decided that this beautiful image needed to be on a fairly CAS card, so I created a ‘door’ background using some distressed wood digital  paper and some simple shapes.

The image is coloured using Promarkers and the sentiment was added on the PC.

For my card today I have chosen to use

Build a Snow Scene Quintuple (Florentina, Felicia, Fifi, Flavia and Francine)- Knitty Kitty Digis No.57

 

These little beauties can be used as a group or individually to create any scene you wish. They are so versatile.

I used a design paper from Bearly Mine which I recoloured to fit the theme of the card.

The sentiment was made on the Pc.

I added a little gel pen to accentuate some of the snow.

We were given free choice this week so as I needed to create a card for my niece’s 17^th birthday I chose to use

Fall weather by Krista Leigh Smith

I am so pleased that Krista is sharing her fabulous art work again.

There are many old favourites in her shop as well as gorgeous new ones like this image here.

As always the image is coloured with Promarkers.

The background was coloured with pastels.

The backing paper is from one of my favourite sets Champagne Winter by Froufroucraft

The sentiment banners were created on the PC and fussy cut.

It’s the third Monday in March and it’s time for a brand new challenge at..

Jan’s Digi Stamps Challenge

As always the theme is Anything Goes and today I am delighted to share with you another of Jan’s new sets for March.

This set is adorable and is packed with sentiments, images and embellishments.

I have teamed this stamp with one of Jan’s older stamp sets.

I have coloured both images using Promarkers, but as with all Jan’s sets there are pre-coloured images if colouring isn’t your thing or if you are short of time.

Our challenge is changing .

Starting in April, we are going to be doing 2 random draws each time; one specifically for entries which use a JDS image, and the other for everyone else.  Each winner will receive a gift certificate to be spent in the store.

I used a cutting file from the Silhouette Design store to create this pretty card base which I cut from glitter card.

I printed the butterflies and one of the lovely sentiments from the set onto a backing paper from Raspberry Road designs called Spring is in the Air.

I coloured the butterflies using Promarkers.

The pearls and ribbon are from my stash.
