The team have been lucky enough to work with several fabulous images and I chose

Flowers in a Basket

The image is coloured with Promarkers.

I used Tattered Lace layered circles to cut out the image and mat.

The doiley was made using a Maryanne die.

The papers are from the ‘Shabby Purple’ set from Michelle Roos.

The sentiment is a digi stamp I made myself in a graphics program.

The gems and purple paper used as a base layer are from my stash.

'Flower Jar'  from Bugaboo Stamps – sponsor of Star of the Month

I love the simplicity of this stamp and the fact that you can add a sentiment to the front of the jar if you want to personalize it.

The papers are from Katie Pertiet’s Botanist Workbook No2 and botanist workbook No20

The image is coloured with Promarkers and I used pastels for the background.

I added glossy accent to the jar.

The image is coloured with Promarkers.

The paper is from an old Bearly Mine digital set, sadly no longer available.

I added ‘fluffy stuff’ to the ‘fur’ on Santa’s clothes.

I fussy cut the image leaving a tiny border and mounted him using foam.

For my DT project I chose…

Cute reindeer

So I have just decorated my craft room which necessitated a major clear out! I have ‘rediscovered’ many, many things that I have bought over the years and have forgotten about. I am ashamed to say some have never been opened.

One of these was this Tattered Lace Snow Globe die.

So I teamed it up with this gorgeous reindeer and a few bits of foliage cut with a cheapie die from Amazon and a poinsettia die cut from a freebie Tattered Lace die and here is my DT project.

The gorgeous papers are from We Are Three – Winter Serenity

The darling reindeer is coloured using Promarkers.

The sentiment was cut using dies from the Snow Globe set.

The snowflake acetate is from my stash.

Today I am sharing a card that I made as GDT for

 Through the Craft Room Door

Pop along to their shop and take a look at the fabulous images, paper pack and sentiments. There really is a variety of choice.

As always the challenge is  Anything Goes

The team have been lucky enough to work with this fabulous image called

‘Honey Bee’,

The fabulous digital paper set ‘Bumble Bee’

And

The sentiment set ‘Bee Buzz’

I used Promarkers to colour the image.

I used Sue Wilson’s creative Expressions stitched hexagonal dies to create the card base and layers.

The gorgeous papers have been matted onto plain black paper.

The sentiment was printed onto cream card and then cut using the smallest die from the set.

I added Tonic diamond glitter to the wings and jewel in the bow just to give it a bit of sparkle.

All of Heather’s stamps are just gorgeous so choosing which one to use was a difficult one.

I eventually chose Lily Blooming Beauties

Isn’t she gorgeous?

I coloured her with Promarkers and used pastels to colour the background which doesn’t show up too well on the picture.

I added glamour dust paint to the petals of the lilies.
