For my Dt card I chose Carolina’s Coffee Break

Rather than go for the obvious valentine or anniversary card I decided to portray family love. I love this image so much!

The image was coloured with Promarkers.

The sentiment is also a Digi Doodles sentiment I’ve had for ages, but I can no longer find on their website. However they do have a whole host of other sentiments on there.

The papers I’ve had in my stash for ages as part of a scrapbook kit as is the heart embellishment.

I love our monthly Christmas challenges because I am able to get ahead with my cards for family and special friends.

For this challenge I chose

'Snowman Bell' 

The image was coloured with Promarkers. The trees are from a Nitwits digital kit which I recoloured to match the colour scheme of the card.

The paper directly behind the image is a Bearly Mine paper ( Oh, how I miss Donna’s papers!)

The other paper is from Nitwits Woodland wishes collection.

The sentiment was made on the PC.

I added 3D snow to the trees and snow beneath his feet.

Today we have a brand new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create.

As always its Anything Goes with the Optional Twist – Watercolouring

We also have a DT call for anyone who is interested in becoming one of our resident designers. We are looking for two new designers to join our happy team.

No previous Design Team experience is necessary.

Successful applicants will be expected to produce one project per month and comment on entries to the challenge.

I have two cards to share today one playing the twist and one anything goes.

For my first card I heat embossed ‘Christmas Rose’ from stamps by Chloe and watercoloured it.

I used Whimsy stamps envelope edger dies, a memoy box rose leaf die and papers from Katie Pertiet aged perfection set.
