For my card I chose

Simply Santa

My 2 year old grandson loves construction vehicles, so when I saw this cutting file for a back hoe at SVG cutting files, I had to have Santa deliver his presents in this unique way.

The card was from my stash.

The lights and card were cut on my Cricut Maker and coloured with Promarkers.

The presents were cut from a Nitwits set.

I know he will love this!

The first using 'Rooftop Party' was inspired by a gorgeous card made by Rosina – I just loved the design of the card.

I can’t believe that it’s December already! Like the rest of you I am busy making cards for family and friends.

Today I would like to share a card I made using

Flirty Fluffy from Sherri Baldy

I can’t say how happy I am to have found this ‘fluffy’ range of digital stamps.

Yeah, images that celebrate curves and ladies with ‘normal’ body shape!

These images are perfect for my beautiful niece, and so, here is her Christmas card.

The image is coloured with Promarkers.

The divine paper is from Giadolls - here.

I fussy cut some of the elements and mounted them on foam pads for the outer panels of the card.

The glitter is glass glitter from Chloe’s Creative Crafts.

The sentiment was made on the PC.

Bargain Christmas

Good Morning,

Today we have a brand new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create.

As always its Anything Goes with the Optional Twist – Use Washi tape

I have to admit that washi tape isn’t one of my go to craft items, however when I spotted three rolls of washi tape in my local pound shop in my favourite colours I decided to buy them. Well 3 rolls for £1 was too good to miss.

I had no idea how I was going to use them but then decided to ick the tape in strips to create a design paper which I then die cut with a Spellbinders bauble die. I cut some foliage using a die I found on Amazon for some crazily cheap price and which cuts like a dream.

So I guess I could call this my bargain Christmas card.

For my DT card I chose Nap Time 
I chose this image because it reminded me so much of the way our cats snuggle up to us.

 

I coloured the image with Promarkers and created a scene using Nitwits Fireside – here. Collection which is gorgeous and great if you want to make quick cards.

All of the elements including the buttons are from the set.

I added glossy accents to the buttons to make them shine.

The sentiment was created on the PC.

For my DT card this week I chose

                '5 shades of Grey Christmas Papers 1'   

The image is called Rudolph and is from Polkadoodles - here.

As the card is for our daughter and her fiancé I used the digital image twice, flipping one to give the effect of a ‘couple’.

I coloured the images using Promarkers.

The card base was made using an SVG cutting file available here from SVGCUTTINGFILES.

I applied glass glitter to the edges of the image, card and sentiment.

The snowflakes and border were cut from a Penny Black die and Memory Box Die respectively.
