Christmas at 613 Avenue Create

Good Morning,
Today we have a brand new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create.

As always its Anything Goes with the Optional Twist of Winter/ Christmas

Here is my project for the challenge…

It’s our granddaughter’s first Christmas and I wanted to make her a keepsake card for her memory box.
So I decided to try my hand at a shadow box card. I can’t believe I’ve never made one of these before!
I used a 160 gsm weight of paper for the actual box but mounted it onto a card blank which is 300gsm. I found using a thicker card made it difficult to fold and manipulate the box during construction.
I printed paper onto the card from the Nitwit collection Joyful hearts - here
The snowflake was made from a memory box die and the foliage was cut using one of the dies from a set I bought from ‘The Works’. It cuts like a dream and there were 5 dies in the pack for £3 – amazing!
The Christmas tree and snowflake on the mittens was made using a stamps by Chloe Christmas tree and sthen heat embossed with Wow embossing powder ( Blizzard) – all available here
The die cuts were glittered using Tonic glitter.
The sentiment was made on the PC.
I drew my own mittens onto ValerianeDigital sweater paper and then fussy cut them adding a touch of glitter onto the cuffs.
The ribbon is from my stash.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges ….
