For my first project, I used one of the angels (Ruby) from the

Elisha Jean and Friends Sweet Angels Set.

 I decided to make a Christmas wand for my granddaughter.

I twisted gingham ribbon around a bamboo stick.

I used Tonic star dies and Crafters companion dies to create the stars.

The sentiment was from Artefactious Christmas Sentiments which I’ve had for ages.

I used Coraline

The gorgeous paper was from AtArtDigital available here

The bows were cut from the paper and decoupaged onto the card.

The sentiment was made on the PC and printed onto a faded version of the backing paper.

The glitter around the edges is tonic Diamond Sparkles Glitter.

Embossing Challenge at CRAFT

For my card I used Me and My Snowman  from Star Stampz.

I am really into these bauble cards at the minute, they are so adaptable.

I designed and cut the shape on my silhouette cameo. I inked the top and edges with Weathered Wood distress ink.

I then cut the mat and layers. I embossed the white layer using a snowflake embossing folder.

I cut the snowflakes using a variety of dies and then heat embossed them with Wow embossing powder.

The sentiment was from Artipants Christmas Sentiments 2.

The image was coloured with Promarkers.

Little Miss Muffet Stamps

For my card I used Brave Cuthbert Knight 

In June our daughter and granddaughter came over from America to stay for a few weeks. We visited Warwick Castle and slept in one of the tents in the knight’s village.

We had such a magical time and our granddaughter loved every minute.

When I saw this image I just knew it had to be the one I used for her birthday card.

I printed the brick paper directly onto the card. Paper can be obtained here.

Then I cut the castle turrets.

I drew the door on the computer and coloured it.

The shield and sentiment was made on the computer as were the windows.

Cuthbert was coloured with Promarkers.

Distress It

Good morning,

                      There is a brand new challenge over at

613 Avenue Create

This month Anything Goes / Optional Twist – Distress It

 

For my project this month I made a bauble Christmas card.

I began by creating the shape on my Silhouette Cameo.

I coloured the top using Tim Holtz distress ink – Weathered Wood and inked the edges.

I then cut the design paper which is from Michelle R Designs – Teal Frost.

I distressed the edge and then used Tim Holtz Tea Dye Ink on the edges.

The Poinsettia was made with a Tim Holtz die and inked with Weathered Wood.

The foliage was cut with a variety of dies and coloured with Weathered Wood.

The sentiment was from Artipants Christmas Sentiments set.

The ribbon was from my stash as were the gems.
