For my DT card I chose this Fabulous stamp Balloon Ride

We now have three grandchildren living here in England and one living in America. As we save pocket money for them every week I decided to make a set of money boxes using old coffee tins.

The fabulous papers are by Michelle R Designs called Men Only unfortunately the link no longer exists to all of her beautiful papers.

The letters were created on the PC and cut out by hand.

For my DT card project this week I used

‘Round Box’ from the Cutting Cafe

This file comes with several varieties of files that can be used on your cutting machines and a PDF file for those of us without a cutting machine.

There are a choice of lids and depths of sides so this is quite a versatile folder.

The gorgeous papers remind me so much of Kath Kidson designs and are from the digital set Teatime available here

Happy New Year and First Challenge of 2017

Good morning,

                      There is a brand new challenge over at

613 Avenue Create

This month it’s Anything Goes with an optional twist – Use Your Favourite Technique

For my project I combined two of my favourite techniques

Double Pocket Tag Card And Make Your Own Rosette.

There are lots of tutorials out there for both of these. For the card I followed this tutorial on Split Coast Stampers here and for the rosette this tutorial is easy to follow if you’ve not done one before here.

The papers are from the My Baby Girl Set by Katie Pertiet- here.

I printed one paper on each side of a piece of 160 gsm paper/ cardstock which is easy to fold.

The image is actually cut from one of the papers.

The lace and gems are from my stash.

The tags were cut using a Go Kreate Tag die.

I used Tea Dye distress ink on the edges.
