Use a Die Cut at I Love Promarkers

Good Morning,

Welcome to another challenge at  I Love Promarkers.

This fortnight’s theme is Use a Die Cut

For my centre stepper card I used Bring the Noise

As always the image has been coloured with Promarkers.

The die cut guitar was made using a Tonic Die.

The stars were made using a Crafters Companion die from a create a card set.

The tag was cut with a Go Kreate tag die.

I made the sentiments on my PC

Nikki kindly gave us some of her stamps to play with.

I was lucky enough to use this digital fairy image ‘Minty’ available here

I was inspired by my fellow teamie Brenda to make a stepper card which I haven’t done for ages.

The image is coloured using Promarkers.

I used semi- transparent glitter on her wings.

The snowflakes were stamped onto vellum using a snowflake stamp from Stamps by Chloe from the winter tree set - here, then heat embossed using Wow embossing powder.

The trees were cut using a Crafters Companion Create  card die.

The paper is from Chelseadesigns on Etsy, but Im unable to find the link now.

For my project, I was lucky enough to be given ‘Wheel Barrow Treat Box’ from The Cutting Café’  to work with - here

I cut the template out on my Sihouette machine, but the cutting café sets come with a PDF version if you don’t have a cutting machine.

I cut the basic box from Kraft card.

The second layer was black paper to give some definition to the patterned paper which is from a Bearly mine collection, sadly no longer available.

The poinsettias were die cut from red and green card.

The tag was from a Michelle Roos called Santa is coming, the sentiment was added to it on the PC.

I added Glamour dust paint to the flowers and Hunky Dory Snow glitter to the bottom.

I put three small chocolate bars in the box, but it could easily hold a small gift or gift card. I intend to save this for my grandson’s teacher at Christmas and put a bag of truffles inside.

To mark the fact that we are now a monthly challenge I have two projects.

The first using ‘Happy Stanley’ From Crafty Sentiments here

 

The image is coloured with Promarkers.

The sentiment was cut using a Tattered Lace sentiment which is part of another die set.

The papers are from the ChelseaLeDesign Sets Shabby Chic script and Shabby Chic music - here

The glitter and ribbon are from my stash.

These are so cute. I used papers from Michelle Roos ‘Christmas Time’ and ‘Santa is coming’ here

The tag was made using a tag from Santa is Coming.

The snowflakes were made using a Martha Stewart border punch.

The glittery bakers’ twine was from a local everything a pound store.

These are so clever because behind the globe is a little tab that can be pulled to allow access to the treats without destroying the card. I am making these for my grandchildren and various young members of our family at Christmas.

Good Morning,

It’s the first Friday of the month – July already, and we have a new challenge over at

Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge

This month the theme is straight Anything Goes

The design team were lucky enough to work with some of the awesome products from the shop.

For my wall hanging I used two stencils Hearts All over & Happy Flowers

The rest of the things were from my stash, Starlight metallic paint – Platinum & Pearl.

The background paper is from a distressed Wood set from Etsy.

The wooden black and black soot distress inks are also from my satsh.
