This is my second post for the day, because we have a new challenge over at

Natalie and Amy’s

This month the theme is Charming – so we would like you to add a charm to your project.

Here is my project using the following things from the shop

Nutcracker Prince

Today we have a new challenge over at ……..

613 Avenue Create

It’s another in our ‘Choose Your Own Challenge’ series. These are enormous fun and really give you the opportunity to stretch yourself creatively.

For my project I used two beautiful stamps from Aurora Wings

The Nutcracker Prince and La Sylphide.

I chose to make a shaped card ( book), Christmas and gold/ metal.

Inside

I love these cards because there is room for a little gift inside, in this one I have popped in two nutcracker tree ornaments.

The images are coloured with Promarkers.

The paper is from the Michelle Roos collection Dear Santa

The lace, gold corners and ribbon are from my stash

The tree was cut using a tattered lace die and the snowflakes were made using a Joy snowflake die. I added semi-transparent glitter to the die cuts.

Love You the mostest & DT Call

Over at Tiddly Inks there is a DT Call - details here 

When I was asked to make a card by a family friend for her daughter’s wedding I just had to choose this gorgeous image ..

….Love You the Mostest from Tiddly Inks. Christy's images are always my go to images for wedding cards. There is such a great choice to suit all types of cards.
I am going to try for the DT so fingers crossed.

My card is a tri fold 8 x 8 card.

The beautiful papers were freebies from Bearly Mine Designs which sadly no longer exists.

The image is coloured using Promarkers.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from Creative Expressions.

The cute little handle is from my stash.

The bride’s veil was painted with glamour dust glitter paint. Just to give it an iridescent look.

Monkey Business

Good Morning, can you believe it is August already?

Today I am sharing my DT project for the new challenge at 613 Avenue Create. Using this fabulous digi bundle from

Melonheadz Illustrations called 5 Swinging Monkeys Bundle

The theme as always is Anything goes with a twist of Happy Birthday

I love these pop up boxes because they fold flat for posting.

The images are all from the bundle.

The papers are from the NITWIT Collection – Going Bananas

The bunting is made using two x- cut dies.

The ribbon is from my stash.

I made this project for my gorgeous granddaughter who has moved to Texas from Kula Lumpa where she was bprn. She regularly went to see the monkeys in the jungle there and really misses them.
