Here we are at the end of June which means that we have a new challenge over at Natalie and Amy’s

This month the theme for our challenge has been chosen by Wendy and her choice is …….

Trash to Treasure

Yes we would like to see you turn those unwanted items into something gorgeous.

As usual the prize for this month is a £15 gift voucher to spend in the store.

I must admit I tend to struggle for ideas with this type of challenge, but I decided to make a pretty box using an old tea bag box.

And a couple of hours later....

The brads are from my stash and the snail button is one I had in a bag of buttons purchased from ebay.

The butterfly border was made using my favourite tonic punch- I really love their punches.

Baptism Card

Morning all, hope the weather is better with you than it is here.

Today I would like to share a baptism card commissioned by my hairdresser for her granddaughter.

She particularly wanted a pink, shaped card which had a picture of her granddaughter on it.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The lace is from my local craft shop.

The vintage sentiment stamp is from Pink Gems. This one is plain so you can add your own wording, but the rest of the set come with sentiments here

For my card this week I used

'Christmas Door' from Gingerloft

I recoloured the door in a graphics program to soften the charcoal grey effect, mounted it onto coconut white card which was embossed with snowflakes, added a few die cuts, bow and sentiment.

Good morning friends, we have had an amazing week end.

On Saturday we went to a wedding, congratulations Chris and Donna and on Sunday it was our precious Imogen’s baptism.
