Easter present

Good morning everyone I hope you are enjoying the Easter weekend. 

I have some exciting news to share. I have been invited to join the DT team at 

Natalie and Amy's challenge.

I was lucky enough to GDT for them in November and was thrilled to be invited back onto the team.
What a perfect Easter present!

The theme for this month's challenge is .....

Monochrome

I was so spoiled for choice with the amazing range of stamps in Natalie and Amy's shop
that I was inspired to make two cards for this challenge.

Using 6 x 6 Kraft card blank, Kraftin' Kimmie- Lulu and friends, blue grosgrain ribbon

The papers for this card are from a set by Lynn Grieveson Forecast kit available here.

The image is coloured with Promarkers.

The sentiment was made on my PC.

Using Whimsy Stamp's Amy

The image is coloured using Promarkers.

The papers are from a Katie Pertiet set called Patterned Krafty No1 - but when it was printed I set the printer to monochrome and chose the black and white option. If you don't have that facility on your printer then you can recolour them in any graphics program.

The swirl is a Doo Hockey die.

Ribbon and pearls are from stash.

The flowers are from Wild Orchids but similar flowers can be purchased from Natalie and Amy's Shop.

I gave this card to a member of staff who was leaving from our school yesterday.

She was absolutely thrilled with it.

As soon as I saw this image from Saturated Canary, I just had to have it.

She is called 'Pint Sized Love'

She really is a delight to colour.

The fancy border that you can just about see was made with a tonic punch.

                          The weather here is anything but spring like. We have been told to expect snow again in the coming week!

                          I hope you are all well. Today is my first Dt card for the Paper Shelter and I am surprised at how nervous I have been about it. The team over at The Paper Shelter are all so lovely that I feel I have been there for ages.

Well, here is my card

I used the new look 'In the 20's' image here . I loved the old one but this new has such a cheeky look about her I had to use her.

I used a Marthar Stewart PATP 

Marianne Creatable bird cage.

Cheery Lynn butterflies and Spellbinders scalloped oval.

The papers are from Bearly Mine Vintage set

The ribbon is from my stash as are the pearls.
