Photo Inspiration

Good Morning All,

What an amazing day we had yesterday. We travelled to watch our cricket team ( Warwickshire County Cricket Club) play a team called the Unicorns down in Buckinghamshire on the Wormsley estate owned by the Getty family. Talk about an idyllic setting. The estate is beautiful and the cricket ground was just so pretty. The weather was glorious, the company as always fantastic and we won! The perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Over at INCY WINCY designs this week, we have a new challenge and this week it is a photo challenge.

Our generous sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter

Here is the beautiful photo to inspire you

For my DT card I used this gorgeous image called 'maniac' and the colours from the picture rather than the scene.

As always the image is coloured with Promarkers
The swirl is a Cheery Lyn Die
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The sentiment is from Lilly of the Valley
Ribbon and gems are from my stash.
The papers are from Raspberry Road designs.

Enjoy your day and the challenge - I  will be popping by everyone's blog this week.

Boxing clever

Good morning peeps,
I trust you are all well. It's Thursday again and honestly I just don't know where the time goes when I am on holiday! I have been doing a lot of crafting - trying to get a head start on my Christmas cards this year so I'm not rushing at the last minute like last year.
Today over at CRAFT  we have a new challenge.
We would like you to make a box
Our amazing sponsors this week are

For my box I chose a pre coloured digi from Scrapper's Delight. They have some gorgeous stamps both pre coloured and outline images. If you are unfamiliar with this site you really should pop over and take a look.

I wanted to make a fairly large box to hold some things for a Christmas present and the person I have in mind to give it to loves traditional Victorian style Christmas things.

The papers are from Stamping all day and Raspberry Road designs

The lace is from Hobby Craft
The poinsetta , leaves and corners were cut using a Marianne Creatables die.
The gold card is from my stash and I've had it so long I can't remember when I bought it!
The base and lid are cut using Go Kreate XXL dies.

It took an age to make because I had to keep leaving it to do other things - I hate doing that  I would much rather keep going on a project.

I hope you like it.
I am entering this into the following challenges
Make it Monday Anything Goes
Challenge up your life - Anything goes
Whoopsi Daisy Anything goes

Please pop over to my fellow teamies blogs whos have created some awesome projects.

Have a fab Thursday - off to clean the house now.

This is the third attempt and I am not too impressed since the bathroom is directly above the room I keep my crafty stash in and last time the water came through the ceiling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's Thursday already and that means a new challenge over at CRAFT.

This week we would like you to ....
Add a charm

As always we have some amazing sponsors

Good morning all,
Well I don't know about your part of the world but the rain is back here although at the moment the sun is shining so fingers crossed.
Today over at CRAFT challenge we have a nice simple sketch for you to follow designed by Kevin

We would like to be able to see the basic sketch in your card but of course you can flip, rotate and embellish it as you would like.

As always we have some fantastic sponsors this week.

I decided to give myself an extra challenge and turn the sketch into a shaker card.

I teamed up Rudolph Mug from Crafty Pad Designs with a background from Make it Crafty
