Anything but a card

Morning everyone,
I hope you are all managing to keep your feet on the ground with all these terrible high winds that we are having at the moment.

Today I would like to share a project I have made for our youngest daughter's 21st birthday next Sunday.

Our challenge over at INCY WINCY designs is anything but a card.

I decided to make a mini photo album to put three of her favourite photos in from her birthday celebrations.

She loves bears so the choice from the lovely selection of stamps we were given to play with from our fabulous sponsor Knk designs was an easy choice. The sentiment was from them too.

First Christmas Card

Hi all,
I have been visiting people's blogs and seen that they have started their Christmas cards already. I have decided to do the same because this year - oops sorry last year was such a mad panic at the last minute for family cards. I have also been dying to make one of these candle cards. So here is my first candle card and Christmas card of 2012 using this amazing teddy bo image.

The paper is a hybrid made from a nitwit paper and a raspberry road one.

The gorgeous sparkly vellum was from my local craft store and is by docrafts

The poinsettias, trees and snowflakes are all from Marianne dies.

The little candle is one I bought as part of a set of four to go into a little lantern.

First Challenge of 2012

Morning all and Happy New Year,Those of us that were around in the 1980's will remember drawings of what life would be like in the year 2000. People were travelling around on hover boards and the buildings looked like something from Star Trek. However, life continues to be the same for most people, with maybe just a few more 'gadgets' to befuddle our brains.

Today is the first challenge of 2012 at Incy Wincy Designs and my first card as a D.T. member.
